The Mesh status column in the Access Points table is hidden by default. To visualize it, simply click on the View Options button on top of the table and select Mesh status.
A new column will then appear in the Access Point table.
The various mesh statuses are displayed using icons and labels, as follows:
Mesh disabled
This icon represents a wired device acting as gateway to the Internet. Mesh is disabled, meaning this device is not part of a mesh network.
Mesh gateway
This icon represents a wired device acting as gateway to the Internet. Mesh is enabled, meaning this device allows other mesh clients to connect to the Internet as well.
Mesh AP (uplink: <gateway name>)
This icon represents a wireless device. It uses a mesh connection to a gateway to connect to the Internet. The name of its gateway is shown in parentheses.
Mesh AP (uplink: Recovery Mode)
This icon represents a device that has entered mesh recovery mode, an automatic recovery method to ensure it can continue to connect to the cloud despite unforeseen network connectivity issues. It temporarily uses a mesh connection to a gateway to connect to the Internet until the connectivity issue has been resolved.
An empty cell in the mesh status column means there is currently no information available for this particular device. This is the case when a new device added to a network has not yet checked in to the Plasma Cloud console.
