Modify permission is required for moving devices to another Floor Plan in networks owned by other user accounts. Related UI elements will not be visible should the permission level be insufficient. See details on Plasma Cloud permissions here. |
Assign Floor Plan via Map Marker Popup
- Go to the Map & Floor Plans page and find the device on the map or its current Floor Plan.
- Click on the device to open its popup.
- In the General tab, select a new Floor Plan from the drop-down menu.
Gray Device Marker on Floor Plans
When a Floor Plan view is open and you reassign a device to a different Floor Plan using the map marker popup, the marker on the current Floor Plan will change to gray. This temporary visual cue indicates that the device has been reassigned and is no longer assigned to the current Floor Plan. Once you leave the current Floor Plan view, the gray marker disappears, as the device is now associated with the new Floor Plan.

After assigning a new Floor Plan, the device map marker will appear in the center of the new Floor Plan. You can modify the device position as described here.
