When a Plasma Cloud Media Converter is connected to a Plasma Cloud Switch, it unlocks additional insights and management options through the Plasma Cloud Console. This enhanced functionality is called Cloud Insights.
Requirements
The Media Converter must be connected to a compatible Plasma Cloud Switch model. See the Switch compatibility for Cloud Insights article for details.
The Media Converter and the Switch it is connected to, must share the same web UI password. To learn how to manage a web UI password and resolve a password mismatch, please refer to this article.
How to View Cloud Insights
Open the Switch Details page of the Switch connected to the Media Converter.
Navigate to the Switch ports tab.
Connected Device view
Enable the Show Connected Devices toggle to visualize device connections.
The Media Converter device icon will appear in purple, indicating Cloud Insights mode is active.
To see the MAC address of the Media Converter, click on the Media Converter icon to opens its Device Popup. The MAC address is displayed on the bottom.
Switch ports table
Locate the port to which the Media Converter is connected. Here you will find detailed insights:

Connected Device column
Lists devices connected to the Media Converter.
Connected devices shown in blue font belong to your network. Clicking on their names oepns their Device Details page. For a complete overview, please see the Connected Devices article.

Link Speed column
Left arrow (first line): link speed between the Switch and Media Converter.
Port icons: The port icons labeled 1 and 2 represent the Ethernet 1 and Ethernet 2 ports. The icon labeled 3 represents the SFP+ port of the Media Converter.
Speed values beside each port: Link speed between the Media Converter port(s) and its connected device.

Drawn PoE column
First line: total PoE consumption vs. PoE budget.
Following lines: PoE consumption per Ethernet port.

Client column
First line: total number of clients connected to the Media Converter.
Following lines: number of clients per port.

Three-dot menu

Additional options, including:
Reboot the Media Converter.
Power cycle PoE Ethernet ports (if PoE devices are connected).
