Assets are used to classify networks as logical objects, to which permissions are assigned. There are two types of assets: organisations and networks. Your access rights to a shared asset are defined through permission types. Each type represents a different set of actions you are allowed to perform. For a detailed overview, please refer to the permission comparison table found in this article.
After an asset has been shared with you, you can manage your gained permissions in your account settings. To do so, you need to:
-
- Log into the Plasma Cloud console;
- Click on your username on the top right of the console and select Account Settings;
- Navigate to Assets shared with me in the main menu on the left.
Here, all organisations and networks you have received access to from various users are listed.

You may reduce or revoke your own permissions but can never increase permissions without consent from the asset owner.

To un-share an asset, you need to:
- Find the network in the table by using the search bar on top or scrolling down the table;
- Navigate to the Permissions column;
- Open the drop-down menu and select "no access" for the respective network and press save;
- A popup will appear to confirm the update. Double-check your changes and press confirm.
Notifications
If network alerts are enabled for a particular network, and notification permission was granted, you will receive notifications whenever something unexpected happens in that shared network.
You have the option to revoke your own notification permissions for a shared network (for example if this network is very noisy and you don't need to stay in the loop).
To turn off notifications for a shared asset, you need to:
- Find the network in the table by using the search bar on top or scrolling down the table;
- Navigate to the Notifications column;
- Disable the notifications toggle for the respective network and press save;
- A popup will appear to confirm the update. Double-check your changes and press confirm.
