Per default, Plasma Cloud Access Points operate in WPA2/WPA3 compatibility mode. For WiFi clients using WPA3 mode, the following requirements must be met to connect successfully:
- Each private password must have at least one assigned MAC address.
- A MAC address can only be assigned to one private password entry.
If a MAC address is assigned to multiple Private Passwords, WPA3 clients using the affected entry may fail to authenticate. A warning icon will appear in the affected table rows.

To clear the warning, remove duplicate MAC address assignments.
When Weaker encryption for legacy device compatibility mode is enabled in SSID settings, duplicate MAC assignments are allowed, and no warning icon will be shown. |
