The Plasma Cloud Console allows to move networks from one organisation to another. During the transfer, all network configurations and device assignments are preserved. Any exceptions to this behavior are outlined in the “Configuration Changes After Network Move” section below.
To move networks owned by other user accounts, delete permission at the source organisation and modify permission at the destination organisation level is required. Related UI elements will not be visible should the permission level be insufficient. See details on Plasma Cloud permissions here. |
Moving a network requires organisation-level access permissions. Therefore, networks shared directly (without organisation access) cannot be moved. This applies to all networks within the organisation "Shared Networks": |
To move a network to another organisation, follow these steps:
- Log into the Plasma Cloud console;
- Select the Organisation and Network of interest from top right menu;
- Navigate to Settings > Network in the main menu on the left;
- Click on the action button (three dots) on the top right and select Move network;
- A pop-up panel will appear. Open the drop-down menu, select the organisation you want to move your network to, and click Move.
A notification is shown once the operation has been completed.
