How to manage the Local Web UI password for your network?

The Web UI password allows access to a device’s Local Management Interface, where you can perform tasks such as firmware upgrades when the device is not reachable from the cloud.

This article explains how to view and manage the Web UI password at the network level. All devices in the selected network will share this password.

Managing Your Network Web UI Password

1. Log into the Plasma Cloud console;
2. Select the Organisation and Network of interest from top right menu;
3. Navigate to Settings > Network > Advanced in the main menu on the left;
4. Find the Web UI section at the end of the page.
5. To view the password, Click on the eye icon to control password visibility and view it in plain text.
6. To change the password, enter a new one in the field and click Save. 

To enhance security, a unique randomized Web UI password is automatically assigned to each network at the time of creation.
