Understanding Network Maps

Network maps are a great tool to visualize the geographical layout of your network infrastructure. They offer a comprehensive overview of your network's spatial distribution, enabling effective monitoring and management of its components.

Within the Plasma Cloud Console, network maps are accessible in various locations. You can manage your network map directly from the overview page. Any adjustments made here will be applied across all related maps, including the Radio Frequency Topology and Mesh Topology maps.

Dynamic Map Display

Upon page load, the map dynamically adjusts to center around all device markers, ensuring that the entirety of your network layout is visible at a glance. This feature facilitates a seamless overview of your network's spatial distribution, enhancing your ability to monitor and manage its infrastructure effectively.

• Enter a network address: Define the network's geographic center for accurate mapping.
• Add devices: Populate your map with Access Points and Switches at the specific locations where they are situated within your infrastructure.
