To go to the Access Point Settings tab, you need to:
- Log into the Plasma Cloud console;
- Select the Organisation and Network containing the device from top-right menu.
- In the main menu on the left, navigate to Access Points.
- Click on your device of interest in the table. This will take you to the Access Point Details page.
- Locate the Settings tab below the network chart.
Name
View the name of your device. To edit the name, simply modify the text field and click Save.
Floor Plan
View the name of the assigned floor plan, if any. To move the device to another floor plan, select the desired option from the drop-down menu and click Save. A new Floor Plan can be created by clicking on the "+" button.
Assigned SSIDs
Manage the SSIDs assigned to the selected device. For detailed instructions, refer to this article. To learn how to create a new SSID, see this article.
WiFi Radios (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz)
Enable or disable WiFi radios, configure channels, and adjust channel width for each frequency band. Detailed guidance is available in this article.
Wireless Mesh
Wireless Mesh bridges gaps between non-wired Access Points by connecting them to the nearest wired Access Point. For more information, see this article.
Wired clients
Configure wired clients using these modes: Routing, Bridge, or Merge with SSID. An overview of each mode is available in this article. A guide for managing wired client settings can be found here.
Settings History
Click the three-dot button at the end of the Settings tab to view the device Settings History. For details, please refer to this article.
