Access Point Ports Tab

The Ports tab on the Access Point Details page provides a visual representation of the device's port bay, with detailed insights into port status and connected devices. For a general overview of the Access Point Details page, please refer to this article.

To go to the Access Point Ports tab, you need to:

1. Log into the Plasma Cloud console;
2. Select the Organisation and Network containing the device from the top-right menu.
3. In the main menu on the left, navigate to Access Points.
4. Click on your device of interest in the table. This will take you to the Access Point Details page.
5. Locate the Ports tab below the network chart.

Connected Device view

To view connected devices, click the toggle in the top-left corner of the Ports tab. The meaning of the various icons is explained in the Connected Devices article.

Connected Device Popup

Clicking the icon of a connected device opens a popup with the connected device name, model icon, and connected port information (if available). If the connected device belongs to your network, you can also click the device name to jump directly to its details page.

Port Popover

Hover over a port to view detailed information about its connection status, such as link status (connected / disconnected), number of clients, link speed, and the name of the connected device.

Ports table

Additionally, the table below the AP graphic provides further port status details, such as the port name, MAC address, connected device information, connection speed, throttling status, and number of clients, along with a search bar for filtering the table. For more information, see this article.
