Plasma Cloud allows the use of most Open Mesh hardware. You can check the list of compatible devices in this article.
Please note that Open Mesh devices need to be whitelisted on our backend before being migrated to Plasma Cloud. If you are getting the following error when trying to import an Open Mesh network
At least one of the APs in the CloudTrax network is not enabled in the cloud.
Please contact your reseller before attempting to import this network again.
it means that the MAC address associated with at least one of your devices has not been whitelisted for Plasma Cloud usage and cannot be migrated yet.
If you wish to migrate your devices from CloudTrax to Plasma Cloud, there are two ways:
- If your current Open Mesh devices were purchased from a distributor that has come to an agreement with Plasma Cloud, they can ask us to whitelist your MAC addresses. In this case, you might want to get in touch with your Open Mesh distributor to understand the timeline of launching Plasma Cloud in their market.
- If the devices were purchased directly from Open Mesh or from a distributor we have no agreement with, we have launched a special program: For each Plasma Cloud device bought, you can migrate one Open Mesh device to your Plasma Cloud account. If you wish to use this program to whitelist your OM devices, please notify your Plasma Cloud distributor. They will start the whitelisting process for you.
A list of authorized Plasma Cloud distributors can be found on our website.
