The Organisation Change Log displays changes made in any network or resource within an organisation. This includes the last 50 configuration changes made to devices, networks, SSIDs, VLANs and Splash pages.
To access a organisation change log, you need to
- Log into the Plasma Cloud console;
- Select the Organisation of interest from the top right menu;
- Navigate to Settings > Organisation in the main menu on the left;
- Scroll to Organisation Change Log.
Each time a change is made, an event in the Change Log will be generated that includes the following information:
- Time: Time the change was made.
- User: The name and email address of the user who made the changes.
- Type: The object that was altered such as "device" (Access Point or Switch), "network", "SSID", "VLAN" or "Splash page"
- Network: The name of the network in which the change occurred.
- Description: Information regarding the specific change will be listed here.
Actions that generate a change log entry:
- create: when a new network, SSID, VLAN or Splash page is created or an Access Point or Switch is added to a network
- update: when the settings of a device, network, SSID, VLAN or Splash page are altered
- delete: when a device, network, SSID, VLAN or Splash page is removed
- move: when a device is moved to another network within the same organisation. If a device is moved between organisations it generates a "delete" change log entry in the source organisation, and a "create" change log entry in the destination organisation.
- reboot: when a device is instructed via the Plasma Cloud Console to reboot. Please note that reboots occurring for other reasons (outages, etc) are not listed in the change log
