The Plasma Cloud Console offers a comprehensive device table with vital insights into your network settings and infrastructure. The following article explains the meaning of each column in the Access Point table. To understand the columns in the Switch table, please see this article.
Status
- Indicates the device operational status.
- A blue flame represents an online device, and a gray flame an offline device.
- There may be additional status icons & warnings which are explained in this article.
Name
- Displays user-assigned device names for easy identification.
- Displays user-added notes for each device (if any).
Model
- Displays device model name and icon.
MAC
- Displays unique device identifier.
- Indicates mesh connectivity status with various icons, as explained in this article.
- Lists device network addresses, including LAN, Gateway and WAN IP addresses.
Last checkin
- Indicates the timestamp of a device's last communication with the cloud.
- Recent cloud communication ensures the displayed data and configuration is up-to-date.
Uptime
- Shows duration for which the device has remained operational without experiencing any interruptions or downtime.
- Indicates the amount of unused storage capacity available on the device.
- A critical value will trigger a disk full warning shown in the 'status' column.
- Indicates the amount of processing power the CPU is currently using, reflecting how busy it is.
- Shows the total number and types of ports which are currently in use.
- Displays installed firmware version.
- When a firmware upgrade is in progress, a spinning arrow icon is displayed, while an information icon indicates the availability of a firmware upgrade.
Channels (width)
- Provides wireless channel and channel width configuration per WiFi radio.
- Indicates if a WiFi radio has been disabled.
- Reports used WiFi standard by WiFi radio.
- Provides insights into device's wireless capabilities and informs about disabled WiFi radios.
Connected clients
- Displays number of connected client devices per WiFi radio.
Upload and Download
- Provides traffic statistics within the selected time period (day, week, month), for both download (incoming) and upload (outgoing) traffic.
Customize View options
Table columns can be shown or hidden based on your preferences using the view options menu located above the table. Initially, certain table columns are displayed by default while others remain hidden.
Certain firmware versions unlock specific features in the Console. If UI features seem to be missing in your network, please check your firmware version and refer to our release notes.
