Every Plasma Cloud account can create, manage, share and delete its own organisations and networks. If you want to learn more about organisations and networks, you can read this article on multi-tenancy.
This guide leads you through the process on how to delete networks and organisations.
Before you proceed, please note that networks and organisations have some specific resources within them. These resources will have to be deleted alongside with their associated network / organisation. More specifically:
- All the devices, VLANs and SSIDs will also be deleted when their associated network is removed;
- Splashpages and all the networks must be removed before their associated organisation can be deleted.
Deleting a network
- Select the network you want to delete from the top right Networks menu;
- Navigate to Settings > Network;
- Click on the three vertical dots next to the Save button on the top right of the page and select Delete Network;
- You will now be presented with a prompt listing the various resources that will be deleted alongside with the network. If you are sure you want to delete the selected network, click on Yes, I am sure!;
-
The console will then notify you that this operation has succeeded.
Deleting an organisation
- Select the organisation you want to delete from the top right Organisations menu;
- Make sure you have deleted all splashpages and networks associated with the selected organisation;
- Navigate to Settings > Organisations;
- Click on the three vertical dots next to the Save button on the top right of the page and select Delete Organisation;
- You will now be presented with a prompt asking if you are sure you want to delete the selected network - click on Yes, I am sure!;
- The console will then notify you that this operation has succeeded.
Please note: if you haven't correctly deleted all the associated splashpages and networks, this operation will give you an error. In case this happens, please go back to point 2.
