Open Mesh devices need to be whitelisted on our backend before being migrated to Plasma Cloud. If you are getting the following error when trying to add an Open Mesh device to your network
This MAC address is not enabled in the cloud.
Please contact your reseller.
it means that the MAC address associated with the device has not been whitelisted for Plasma Cloud usage and cannot be added yet.
In this regard, please note that Plasma Cloud is engaging with customers exclusively through its distributors & resellers. If you wish to migrate your devices from CloudTrax to Plasma Cloud, there are two ways:
- If your current Open Mesh devices were purchased from a distributor that has come to an agreement with Plasma Cloud, they can ask us to whitelist your MAC addresses. In this case, you might want to get in touch with your Open Mesh distributor to understand the timeline of launching Plasma Cloud in their market.
- If the devices were purchase directly from Open Mesh or from a distributor we have no agreement with, we have launched a program granting one additional Plasma Cloud licence for third party devices (such as Open Mesh) for each Plasma Cloud device bought.
If you are interested in the latter, please let us know where you are based so we can give you the details of an already existing distributor in your area.
